Recruiting The Right People

An overview of the various roles needed during your event

Your team should have both the skills and the capacity to fulfill their role. Organizing an Incitement event is a big commitment and will take up a fair amount of your team member’s time. Make sure to select team members who are ready to make that commitment.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re building your team:

Ask yourself “Who’s capable of getting the job done?”

Look for people who can take ownership of their role. They should have both the skills and the capacity to fulfill their role. To make things easier, start with asking your circle of friends or clubs (like AIESEC, ROTTERY CLUB, etc). Usually these clubs have an amazing pool of talents riling to go, and would get hooked to any projects or events that will enable them to grow.

Allow your team to recruit more capable team members

Sometimes you will encounter situations where you just ran out of leads to recruit for your Incitement team. Our advice here is not to push yourself too much. Ask your other team members to recommend other volunteers. Usually this does wonders, and all the headache that you have in the beginning melts down in minutes.
